Staff Attorney
The Tennessee Fair Housing Council (TFHC) is hiring a Staff Attorney. TFHC is a private, nonprofit organization based in Nashville, Tennessee. Our mission is to eliminate housing discrimination in Tennessee.
This is a full-time exempt position. The salary range is $70,000-$80,000 depending on experience. Benefits include paid health, dental, and vision insurance for employees with the option to add family members at the employee’s expense; accrual of 2 days of paid time off per month; paid holidays; and a remote work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
Juris Doctor degree
Admitted to practice law in Tennessee
Strong legal research and writing skills
High capacity to focus on tasks and meet deadlines
Skilled with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Knowledge of the Fair Housing Act and Tennessee landlord/tenant laws
Experience drafting complaints, motions, and briefs
Strong litigation and negotiation skills
Experience with case management
Proficiency in Spanish
